Because He Chose to Fly Tonight

He opened his eyes under the clear sky;
The Sun to the West with the Moon glimpsing
the eastern eye;
Mesmerizing the flock with the smile,
Connecting the starlings in the murmuration
of innocent vibes.

Hidden from the dangers of the world,
always stayed in the nest with the wings
furled;
Saw his cousins flying high,
Clenching the power of knowledge with utmost pride.

In Spite of how much the world snides,
The child understands it’s not gonna be a joyride;
But with the dreams in his gullible eyes,
Keeps his negativity way aside,
Daring the world to bring on the fight,
Because He Chose to Fly Tonight!
